Prophecy Creek is the seat of Wenro County, Pennsylvania, and a suburb of Philadelphia.

The borough covers nineteen square miles and is bounded by the two branches of Prophet's Creek that diverge at Burning Rock and rejoin six miles to the southeast. The borough is also bordered by the town of Redemption to the east, and the town of Sylvan Springs to the north.

In 2010, Prophecy Creek had a population of 33,923, with a population density of 1,737 people per square mile. Schools in the town include Keller Vale Middle School, Prophecy Creek High School and Wenro County Community College, while a minor league New York–Penn team called the Prophecy Creek Islanders is based in the town, playing at the Camlann Fields Baseball Park.

The town, along with the rest of the County, is served by the daily newspaper, the Wenro County Register.
